Frontiir was awarded Asian Technology Excellence Award 2025 on 18 September at Conrad Bangkok,Thailand. The awards programme celebrated companies across the Asia-Pacific for creating some of the region’s most groundbreaking technological projects and innovations. Honoured with the Myanmar Technology Excellence Award for Network and Broadband – Broadband Telecommunication, Frontiir was recognized for its pioneering broadband technology and solar-integrated infrastructure, which successfully improved connectivity in Myanmar and provided millions with access to reliable and affordable internet. In a move to ensure sustainability and resilience, Frontiir launched new solar-integrated data centers and smart solar-powered poles in 2024. These facilities, equipped with lithium battery storage, reduce diesel consumption and guarantee reliable service even during extended power outages.

Winning this award marks Frontiir’s commitment in social impact through the sustainability of continuous improvements on technology development, engineering and operational efficiency. Over the past years, Frontiir has transformed many businesses, education, and personal lives in Myanmar by providing affordable and high-quality internet services with its unique proprietary technology. 

Recognized for its quality innovation, Frontiir also received international awards such as the ASEAN Business Award in Innovations (2018) and the ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Award (2019).
