Frontiir’s co-founders, both MIT graduates and known international experts in WiFi systems, have spent several years designing networking architecture blueprints and collaborating with local engineers to develop unique solutions for broadband Wi-Fi access that is scalable, cost-effective, and high performance.

Frontiir’s WBAN infrastructure, based largely on Wi-Fi, is by far one of the most advanced and densest Wi-Fi broadband delivery systems in the world, extending broadband internet access in places where fiber backhaul availability is the most challenging. By reducing CapEx while maintaining quality and scalability, Frontiir’s system and products help bridge the digital divide effectively. Most importantly, Frontiir affects a social impact through the sustainability of continuous improvements on technology development, engineering and operational efficiency.

The team has proven that their unique proprietary technical design is 20 times more capital-efficient than traditional network designs using technologies like LTE or FTTH, surpassing both reliability and quality.

For its innovation and impact, Frontiir was awarded 2018 ASEAN Business Award for SME Excellence in Innovation as well as ASEAN Outstanding Engineering award in 2019.


Internet provision with its network infrastructure and data center is regarded as an energy intensive industry. Frontiir is concerned with the energy consumption of its infrastructure and services.

In addition to following international standards on green initiatives and waste management for the network providers, Frontiir has developed innovative solutions with regards to design and systems of electrical supply connected to the network and the data centers.

Frontiir is now in its third generation of energy consumption improvement network design which is 15% to 20% more energy-efficient compared to traditional network designs.


Although our headquarters and main operations are in Myanmar, Frontiir operates Research and Development Centers in Yangon, Silicon Valley, Philadelphia, and Singapore, building on global high tech developments, spanning from broadband networks, power systems, business and operations automations, distributed systems, embedded devices, analytics, machine learning, cloud technology to streaming media platform and value-add services. The RnD teams work closely with all of our organization units from business, corporate, customer service, sales, finance, network engineering and operational teams to design and develop the best products and solutions to fulfill our company’s mission of bridging the global digital divide and providing the common people access to useful, affordable and innovative digital services.

Our Headquarters RnD lab is home to over 70 outstanding engineers, cultivating local talent through our university internship programs and attracting repatriates to bring diverse research and development experience from the US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Thailand.  This lab is responsible for the software development for our core products in Internet Services, Media Streaming Platform, and Value Added Services incorporating machine learning and big data analytics. It also features one of the country’s leading electrical engineering teams that has garnered a prestigious patent grant from the USPTO in 2019, bringing high tech innovations in WiFi, Power Systems, and Networking Devices.




As we consider the future, we acknowledge a need to accelerate innovation advancement. Frontiir constantly innovates to improve technology and also reduces users’ technical cost. Our hardware team designs and produces many products such as FCA, FCC, FCAC, FCG, LCO, FFO, FCS, FCSO, LCAC, LCAF to the technical market in Myanmar. All products connecting with the Myanmar Net internet network and these ICT products are designed and developed proudly in Myanmar by the Myanmar team.
